Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Washington Navy Yard, DC

Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience supporting pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Strong knowledge of best practices in speech and language interventions within a school environment
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for student success
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Skilled in progress monitoring, data collection, and individualized education plan (IEP) development
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and developing treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Delivering direct therapy services and consulting with school staff regarding communication strategies
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with federal and state education laws
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and supporting IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Contributing to a positive, supportive school climate and advocating for students’ needs
