School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid WA state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with K-12 students is preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders across K-12 grade levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward student goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services within a school-based framework, supporting academic and social development
- Participate actively in student support meetings, team discussions, and professional development
