Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with K-12 populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Experience with IEP processes and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
- Adapt interventions and supports for students at various developmental levels
- Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions and reporting
