School Speech Language Pathologist - Yelm, Washington

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or actively pursuing)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, though open to newer graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to adapt to varied K-12 student needs and manage a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain accurate records for documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student eligibility and service planning
- Provide guidance and education to staff and families to foster generalization of skills
