Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP license for Washington state (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong CFs will be considered
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings valued
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of 45-50 K-12 students (varied needs and ages available)
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and parent-teacher communications
- Coordinate support and strategies with educators, aides, and other therapists
- Document and track student growth in accordance with district and state guidelines
