School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Tacoma, Washington

You’ll work an average of 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with educators and families to deliver speech and language services that empower students to find their voices and reach their potential.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Valid Washington Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Completed or willing to complete fingerprinting through OSPI
- Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Delivering direct therapy services and monitoring student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and local regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and professional development activities as required
