Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate goals and strategies across settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support and education to teachers and parents to promote carryover of skills
