School Speech Language Pathologist - Novato, California

This position is perfect for SLPs with a passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and experience supporting extensive or intensive student needs. Recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions for students in two extensive support needs classrooms
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Work closely with special education teachers and paraprofessionals to integrate AAC systems and strategies throughout the school day
- Train staff and support families in effective AAC use and communication development
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY
- School-based experience or strong knowledge of SLP practice in educational settings preferred
- Expertise in AAC and supporting students with complex communication needs required
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, communication, and exceptional student care
The position offers scheduling flexibility, requiring 2–3 days per week at approximately 7 hours per day.
