Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Ability to develop individualized education and therapy plans
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery, as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedicated, compassionate, and professional approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, addressing a wide range of communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and determine appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation compliant with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress and inclusion in the classroom
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on language and communication needs
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapies as needed, and prepare progress reports
