Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state license or eligibility to obtain one as an SLP
  • Previous experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in schools or similar settings
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and social–communication interventions for a K–12 population
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various communication challenges
  • Provide direct therapy to students, documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing as a speech-language expert
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster communication development across school settings
  • Maintain thorough student records and ensure compliance with all guidelines and policies
