Qualifications and Background Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to foster holistic student progress
- Document and maintain accurate student progress records and IEP data
- Provide consultation, resources, and training to school staff as needed
- Stay current with best practices and state requirements for school speech-language services
