School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Oxnard, California
Step into an impactful role supporting young learners in California, working closely with preschool students ages 3 to 5. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, and gives you a chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of up to 50 children across multiple school sites. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA eligible for work in schools
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool or early childhood populations
- Skilled in school-based SLP services, with comfort adapting to both in-person and teletherapy settings
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
- Candidates with healthcare, OT collaboration, or multi-site experience are highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy for preschool-aged students, developing and implementing IEPs to address communication and swallowing needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and a supportive SLP colleague to monitor progress and drive student success
- Participate in team meetings, assist with assessments and reevaluations, and maintain accurate documentation
- Support occupational therapy needs as part of an interdisciplinary team, as relevant to each student
- Balance onsite and teletherapy service delivery as directed by the district
