Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working within schools or pediatric healthcare settings is highly desirable
  • Comfortable with in-person and virtual therapy platforms
  • SLPA candidates must have relevant credentials for California practice
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency impairments among students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic success
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both onsite and teletherapy formats
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress according to district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for individualized student planning
  • Offer support and guidance to families and staff regarding therapeutic interventions and best practices
