Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and tailor interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster positive student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Travel between designated sites as needed, providing care and guidance throughout the assignment
