Desired Expertise & Requirements:
- Active state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA, or eligibility for licensure in California
- Previous experience working in school or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Comfort working with a diverse student population and addressing a wide range of speech/language disorders
- Teletherapy candidates should have strong digital literacy and reliable access to technology
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs across K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in-person or via telepractice platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain timely records, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide guidance and expertise to other educational staff regarding communication disorders
