Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow applicants are welcome)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Recent experience in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and effective remote therapy strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in evaluating and developing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborative spirit for working with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy sessions, either virtually or onsite
- Document student progress and maintain accurate case records, in compliance with district and state policies
- Collaborate actively with school staff, parents, and related service professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress reports for each student
- Support strategies for generalization of communication skills within classroom and social settings
- Provide support for assistive communication technology as appropriate
