Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, especially within schools
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and willingness to deliver remote services as needed
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments and developing effective treatment plans
- Knowledge of IEP processes and writing goals tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress and generalization of communication skills
- Utilize evidence-based practices, adapting interventions as needed to facilitate student success in both in-person and teletherapy settings
