Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Camarillo, CA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners with speech and language needs. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, focusing on preschool students between the ages of 3 and 5. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, serving a caseload of up to 50 students across multiple school sites. An experienced SLP colleague will be on hand at the primary location to partner with you, ensuring support and shared expertise as you make an impact.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work closely with other professionals, including those addressing OT needs, to deliver comprehensive care for young students. The calendar includes a scheduled spring break from March 30 to April 10, 2026, allowing you to recharge mid-assignment. Virtual interviews are being scheduled via Google Meet next week for prompt hiring.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid California SLP License; CCCs or CFY welcome
- Experience in school settings or pediatric healthcare environments
- Familiarity with EI/preschool population (ages 3-5)
- Comfort working across multiple school sites and managing a moderate caseload
- Exposure to teletherapy and collaborative service delivery models preferred
- SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students with speech-language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Contribute to team meetings for multidisciplinary student support
