Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Oxnard, CA
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting serving preschoolers aged 3-5! This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact while collaborating with other dedicated professionals. Work with a caseload of up to 50 young learners across multiple school sites, with support from another experienced SLP on site. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through June 17, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- California licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA (CCC preferred, but CFY candidates considered)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Background in teletherapy, early childhood intervention, or healthcare environments is a plus
- Comfort working with preschoolers and tailoring interventions to early learners
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, treatment, and consultation services to preschool caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for communication needs
- Collaborate closely with another SLP, teachers, and additional professionals such as OTs
- Serve multiple school sites, working flexibly to support a dynamic caseload
- Offer both in-person and teletherapy as needed to support student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
