Desired Background & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows also considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to guide interventions
- Provide training, consultation, and resources to staff and families as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies to maximize outcomes
