Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Rochester, NY

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though strong CF candidates may be considered
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student plans
- Provide guidance and resources to support classroom-based language development strategies
