Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience or coursework in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Commitment to improving student outcomes and building rapport with children
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Maintain clear and timely documentation on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
- Adapt and modify interventions to meet individual student needs
