Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Ithaca, NY

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Prior experience with pediatric populations in school settings highly desirable
- Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in speech, language, and communication interventions
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
- Provide direct therapy services to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, support staff, and families to foster a holistic approach to student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team discussions
