Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Buffalo, New York

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year welcomed
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Comfortable with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes, documentation, and assessment tools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students ages preschool through high school with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and create targeted interventions and treatment plans to support student progress
- Develop and maintain IEPs and documentation in alignment with state and district requirements
- Work closely with teachers, school psychologists, and other staff for integrated student support
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student confidence and participation
- Engage with families to offer insight, strategies, and progress updates
