Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (Texas SLP License or eligibility required)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Proficiency with IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and educational objectives
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy with engaging, age-appropriate strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences as needed
- Provide input and support for inclusion in the general education environment
