Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid SLP license in Texas
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but clinical fellows are also encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and provide individualized therapy plans for students, ensuring alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each student’s progress
  • Document and report student progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and supports to enhance student success
