School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Riverdale, Illinois

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for diverse populations
- Proficient in documentation, progress monitoring, and developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible, team-oriented mindset with a passion for student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for incoming and current students
- Develop and implement evidence-based individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to integrate strategies into classroom environments
- Document and track therapy progress, adapting interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and support for student programming
- Provide resources and training to school staff and caregivers as needed
