Speech Language Pathologist in Orland Park, IL

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create tailored intervention plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support planning and goal-setting
- Offer guidance and education to teachers and staff to facilitate generalization of communication strategies in the classroom
