School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Rantoul, Illinois

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior school-based experience or strong pediatric clinical background highly valued
- Familiarity with a range of disabilities, including speech, language, articulation, and social-pragmatic needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and age groups as assigned
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapy to students within assigned schools
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with teachers, families, and staff
- Support inclusive education by consulting with classroom teachers and related services
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education as required
