Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license required
- Previous experience in an educational setting highly valued
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Must complete or verify TEA fingerprinting prior to assignment (can take up to 10 business days)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to support K-12 students, adapting to a variety of learning and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans designed by a licensed SLP for a caseload of approximately 60-65 students
- Deliver direct and indirect services under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Track student progress, keep accurate documentation, and assist with evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to encourage communication goals
- Support inclusion initiatives and help foster a positive learning environment
