What You'll Bring:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license issued by the State of Texas
- Experience working in school settings with diverse age groups (K-12 preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly valued
- Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting with the Texas Education Agency in a timely manner
- Adaptability and positive attitude in dynamic educational environments
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to approximately 60-65 students at a single campus
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Collect progress data, document sessions, and contribute to student reports
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to support student success
- Help students achieve IEP goals and maximize their academic and social potential
