You will primarily support one school location (to be confirmed), working closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to student growth.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure is required; candidates must be fully licensed (clinical hours completed)
- Experience or familiarity with K-12 student populations
- Strong desire to support and engage with diverse learners
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly preferred and valued
- Ability to pass TEA fingerprinting for credentialing (please note: this process can take up to 10 business days)
- Flexibility, strong communication skills, and collaborative spirit
What you’ll do:
- Provide therapy and targeted support to a caseload of approximately 60-65 K-12 students
- Deliver services as directed by supervising SLPs, including both individual and group intervention
- Maintain session notes, progress records, and assist with documentation
- Communicate regularly with the school team, families, and support staff
- Help students maximize their abilities in articulation, language, and social skills
This on-site, full-time position offers up to 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to create lasting connections with students and colleagues within the school community.
