Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license required
- Previous school-based SLPA experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual skills in Spanish highly valued, but not required
- Experience with K-12 populations ideal
- Must complete/verify fingerprints with the Texas Education Agency (TEA); allow up to 10 business days
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic school environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct intervention services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 K-12 students
- Collaborate with supervising SLP, teachers, and staff to implement therapy plans
- Document student progress and maintain required records
- Support communication goals and foster inclusive learning
- Engage in development opportunities and participate in school events when possible
- On-site service only—virtual work is not available for this role
