We are seeking two enthusiastic speech-language pathology professionals to provide crucial services on-site for the current academic year through May.
You’ll play a vital role in fostering growth and communication skills among a caseload of approximately 60–65 students, all within a single school site (location to be finalized). This full-time contract position, up to 37.5 hours weekly, ensures you connect deeply with your students and colleagues—making a meaningful impact each school day.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Texas SLPA licensure (candidates without current licensure or who are completing clinical hours will not be considered)
- Experience in school settings supporting K-12 populations
- Comfortable managing caseloads of 60–65 students
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively on-site (this opportunity is not open to virtual/remote arrangements)
- Willingness to complete or verify fingerprints through TEA; final clearance can take up to 10 business days
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their communication goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP or team meetings as needed
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for diverse learners
