Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Illinois SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience with elementary-aged children preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and school-based activities as needed
