Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Illinois SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience with elementary-aged children preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and school-based activities as needed
