Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Forsyth, IL

Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Open to candidates with CCC or CFY status
- Experience providing services in school settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor therapy for early childhood learners
- Commitment to collaboration with educational teams and caregivers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of about 40 students in PreK and kindergarten
- Conduct assessments and create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and state requirements
- Consult with classroom teachers and provide recommendations for embedding communication strategies
- Maintain thorough records and progress notes for each student
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Adapt approaches to meet diverse learning and communication needs
