Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure valid for school-based practice
- Previous experience in educational, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Comfortable conducting both direct and virtual therapy sessions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services in-person and via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as part of the educational team
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
