Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois for SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with diverse pediatric populations highly valued
- Understanding of a broad spectrum of disabilities and experience developing individualized education program (IEP) goals is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide therapy services to students with various communication disorders and disabilities
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to compliance standards
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student progress and intervention strategies
