Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Illinois SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work across various age groups (exact caseload and ages TBD)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation for diverse caseloads
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and comply with state and federal guidelines (Types of disabilities and student numbers to be determined)
