What we’re seeking:
- Current Washington SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 school settings
- Ability (or willingness) to obtain Washington ESA certification
- Fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to fostering student success and inclusive learning
In this essential role, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering speech/language therapy services
- Managing a K-12 caseload and adapting services to individual student needs
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state guidelines
- Consulting with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning for students
- Providing progress reporting and recommendations for ongoing student development
