Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective therapy sessions
- Provide direct intervention services to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress and treatment plans
- Participate in IEP team meetings and collaborate with teachers, administration, and families
- Offer resources and support for parents, caregivers, and staff regarding student progress
