Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure as required for Washington or eligible for licensure
  • Previous experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
  • Comfortable with diverse caseloads, including various ages and diagnoses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
  • Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social/pragmatic disorders
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a holistic, team-based approach to student care
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input on student progress and goals
  • Offer consultation, resources, and training to educational staff as needed
