Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for Washington or eligible for licensure
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
- Comfortable with diverse caseloads, including various ages and diagnoses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social/pragmatic disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a holistic, team-based approach to student care
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input on student progress and goals
- Offer consultation, resources, and training to educational staff as needed
