Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal-driven therapy sessions
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to a varied caseload
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent consultations
- Contribute to in-service training and collaborate on school-wide initiatives to support student success
