School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Plymouth, Massachusetts
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-3 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a medical leave coverage this fall. This position runs from October 26th through December 22nd and is ideal for those passionate about making a positive difference in young learners’ communication development.
You’ll work full-time, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with a dedicated lunch break from 12:00 to 12:30 PM. Tuesdays and Thursdays also provide an extra half-hour specifically for report writing, allowing you to stay organized and thorough in documentation. With just a single school site and a focused caseload of 26 students, you’ll have the chance to deliver targeted support and build strong relationships within the school community.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) certification required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfort supporting K-3rd grade students with diverse speech and language needs
- Proficient in administering assessments, developing IEPs, and managing documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating closely with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students (K-3rd)
- Complete timely assessments, progress monitoring, and IEP documentation
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Attend team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Ensure compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
