Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged children in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication delays/disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Offer support and guidance in classroom settings, with a focus on inclusive practices
