Make a positive impact on students’ lives as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting an elementary caseload. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with young learners, help develop their communication abilities, and collaborate with a dedicated school team. In this role, you’ll work Monday to Friday for 6.5-hour days, delivering assessments, intervention, and support services—both in-person and through teletherapy.
Your expertise in pediatrics, familiarity with AAC devices, and background in educational settings will shine as you create individualized plans and facilitate real progress in students’ speech and language skills.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active State SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Proficiency working with elementary-aged students
- Experience in schools and/or healthcare settings serving pediatrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of AAC devices and implementation strategies
- Comfortable delivering services via teletherapy as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, teachers, and fellow professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
- Integrate the use of AAC devices into therapy when needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide therapy sessions both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
- Educate and empower families and staff on communication strategies
