Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain
- Experience working in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote optimal student outcomes
