What We’re Looking For:
- Current ASHA certification or eligibility (for SLPs)
- Hold or be able to obtain appropriate state licensure for practice as an SLP or SLPA
- School-based or pediatric experience highly preferred
- Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized services for students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals for each student
- Document progress, maintain compliance with IEP requirements, and prepare necessary reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for speech and language concerns
- Deliver services across a variety of settings within the elementary school as needed
