Qualifications:
- Current and active New Jersey SLP licensure is required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Commitment to student-centered care and individualized support
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, progress, and treatments
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff to develop goals and strategies
- Provide direct therapy as well as consultation to staff and families
- Track student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed
- Support generalization of communication skills to academic and social settings
