Seeking an experienced speech-language pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract opportunity, located near Jersey City, NJ, allows you to support students with a variety of communication needs as they progress through critical academic and developmental stages.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active New Jersey SLP license required
- Previous experience working in school-based environments strongly preferred
- Comfortable delivering services at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to supporting students' educational and social development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, assessment, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress, assessments, and sessions
- Contribute to IEP meetings with expert input on student needs and progress
