Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology licensure required.
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred.
- Comfortable providing services to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostics of speech, language, and communication.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring SLP services.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to students individually or in groups, addressing a range of speech and language needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to support academic and social success.
- Maintain timely and accurate therapy records, progress notes, and required documentation.
- Consult with teachers and provide resources or strategies to foster communication development in the classroom.
