School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spring, Texas

This full-time, onsite contract spans the school year from early August 2026 through early June 2027. You’ll play a vital leadership role supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), conducting speech-language evaluations, and facilitating ARD meetings. Instead of traditional therapy sessions, the focus here is on assessment and program coordination, allowing you to have a wide-reaching impact across campus communities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license (CCC-SLP credentials)
- Prior school-based SLP experience, ideally with elementary or primary populations
- Experience supervising SLPAs is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in multidisciplinary meetings
- Ability to efficiently manage evaluation and documentation responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs assigned to your caseload
- Complete thorough and timely speech-language evaluations for students
- Facilitate Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and actively collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations for documentation and assessments
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech-language services and student progress
